·All matches to be fished to W.D.U.A.A. rules.
·Matches to be fished on a dual knock-out round basis with a previously decided number of teams going through to the final pending the number of teams entered.
·Dates selected for the provisional two knock-out rounds are:
                     Knockout Round 1 - 6th September
                     Knockout Round 2 - 13th September
                     The final will be on 4th October
·DELEGATES MATCHES:                
                      7th June 2008
                      6th December 2008
·All matches will be fished on the match pools (A, B and C)
·Teams to be 3 a side with one angler on each pool.
·Result to be decided on points per pool and totalled collectively. In the event of a tie, the result will be decided on total weight.
·Clubs may enter as many teams as they wish - each team must be separately identified.
·Anglers competing for a team are not permitted to fish for any other team.
·In the event of the non-availability of an angler for a match, a substitute who has not previously competed in this event may be used.
·Clubs entering 2 teams are required to fish on alternative dates.
·Clubs entering more than two teams will potentially be required to fish on the same date, a possible additional knock-out round will be allocated if required.
·Numbers of finalists per round will be confirmed pending the confirmation of the number of teams entered.
·Peg fees to be £2.00 per angler and paid directly to the association by a nominated representative. Optional pool monies to be decided and voted upon by the respective teams on the day.
·Match start times and durations to be decided and voted upon by the respective teams on the day pending conditions.
·Draw time to be 08.00am. Pegging-out to be mutually agreed by clubs in attendance on the respective date.
·Weighing-in to be preferably completed by at least one representative from each club where possible.
·Format to be reviewed and agreed for 2008 after completion of 2007 competition.
Teams will need to select a knock-out round date which is suitable and inform Colin Pettifer no later than the August delegates meeting. If a particular date is over sub subscribed the situation will need to be reviewed and a potential additional date added as previously stated.




The objective is to have an enjoyable day’s fishing, to raise funds for the association and above all embrace the spirit of the W.D.U. A. A.
